A Test.
I’m breaking down
Shattered mirror in my hand
Tracing my veins that are drawn
Up against my skin, no longer tan
I carried a heat so strong, needing a fan
That I saw no heaven or hell
Turning over the hourglass with the sand
There’s no beginning that I can tell
Hourglass rushing as sand fell
Credits are rolling, screen fades to black
Story’s been told, not hard to sell
So many twist and turns couldn’t stay on track
This all was a test
And now I must rest.
